Blake Fuller talks about Braille Battery's Nissan Altima Hybrid race car

By EV World Television

Hey, Nascar! Ready for some green competition? How about a fuel economy-based race?

Okay, Blake Fuller's Nissan Altima Hybrid won't give the typical Nascar team much to worry about today, but it sets the bar for future stock car racing.

Blake is not only the spokesman for Braille Battery, which provides "upscale" starter batteries for various segments of the motor racing industry, he's also the car's driver.

This short video was recorded at the 2008 LA Auto Show. Below is a full side profile of the car, which is equipped with a new, low rolling resistance Yokohoma Tire in which part of the material in the tire comes from orange peels.

Other sponsors include DuPont and, of course, Nissan who Fuller says enthusiastically support his efforts.
