Think in Winter

ElectricAid.org video test drive of Think A306 'City' electric car

By Electric Aid Norway

Try to start your gasoline car in the depth of Winter and you quickly realize what cold temperatures do to starter batteries. What happens, the uninitiated ask, to a battery-powered car in winter? Will it even run?

As this video, produced on behalf of Electric Aid Norway, clearly demonstrates, the Th!nk A306 City, built by Think Global in Aurskog, Norway, meets the daunting challenge of an Oslo winter with ease.

While struggling to continue limited production, Think is seeking its next round of capital funding that would enable it to produce 10,000 vehicles a year in its Norwegian plant. Interim bridge funding from the parent of its US-based lithium battery supplier, EnerDel, has provided it with enough funds to complete cars on its assembly line and buy it a few more months to find the funds it needs for its future growth.
