Bangalore, India -- General Motors has finally been able to raise most part of the $200 million required for its power train plant in the country from a consortium of Indian and foreign financial institutions.
“We did not have a problem raising the required amount,” General Motors’ India President and Managing Director, Mr Karl Slym, told Business Line. While a large part of the funds was raised from financial institutions, the rest was from internal accruals.
