Detroit -- American technological innovation unfortunately took a break in the 2000s, according to retired Gen. Wesley Clark.
Speaking at The Business Of Plugging In plug-in hybrid conference in Detroit Tuesday, Clark spoke of earlier tech booms fueled by innovation in computing, the Internet and cell phones.
