Fisker in Talks to Take Over Idled GM Plant in Delaware

SYNOPSIS: Until it was shut down in July, GM's Boxwood Road facility manufactured the Saturn Sky and Pontiac Solstice roadsters.

Fisker Automotive Inc. is in advanced talks to set up a plug-in electric hybrid vehicle plant in General Motors' idled plant in Delaware, according to media reports on Sunday.

GM's Boxwood Road facility, which was manufacturing the Saturn Sky and Pontiac Solstice roadsters, and Opel version that was exported to Europe, remains closed since July.
