Tata Plans Introduction of Manza Hybrid Concept

Tata Manza hybrid concept will debut at the 2012 Auto Expo in India.

The electric hybrid concept of the sedan will be showcased with new styling.

Tata Motors showcased the Tata Indica electric at the 2010 Auto Expo, which was an instant hit at the Tata's stall. This year too, Tata Motors will show its commitment in developing green technology by presenting the hybrid concept of its sedan, Tata Manza. The hybrid concept will don new styling and design tweaks, which could be later seen on the regular Manza sedan when the car goes in for a facelift. The company has no concrete plans of pushing the hybrid concept down the production line, just yet.

Joining the Tata Manza hybrid concept at the 2012 Auto Expo will be the entire range of Tata Motors cars, buses and trucks. The Indian automaker will also be showcasing vehicles from the British brand, Jaguar Land Rover.


Tata Vista EV will cost upwards of $48,000US.
