It is first electric car from Renault built from the ground-up as an EV: and now the keys of the very first Renault ZOE to be delivered have been presented to Arnaud Montebourg, the French Minister of Industrial Recovery.

Mr Montebourg (left, pictured with Carlos Tavares) ordered his Renault ZOE at the Paris Motor Show in September this year and takes his keys ahead of a mass launch of the ZOE during the first quarter of 2013.

The ZOE is seen as the spearhead for Renault’s Zero Emissions range. It is widely affordable and qualifies for a €7,000 environmental bonus from the French government which brings its starting price down to €13,700.
