Mercedes Fuel Cell Car On The Road to the Future

HyGenius F600 is a compact-class car with a family-friendly design powered by a zero-emission fuel-cell drive, which consumes the equivalent of 2.9 litres of fuel per 100 kilometres (81.mpg) and has an operating range in excess of 400 kilometres (248 mi).

The Mercedes F 600 HyGenius is a thing of beauty and genius.

The hydrogen fuel-cell research vehicle makes its premiere appearance at the Tokyo Motor Show this weekend.

Of all the many wild and wacky prototypes displayed at the show, it is likely one of the few that will eventually make it to the production schedule in the future, if not the near future.
