Here’s Why Synthetic E-Fuels Are Not The Answer To The Future Of Cars

"The process of creating a synthetic E-Fuel involves splitting a water molecule into Hydrogen and Oxygen, and then adding CO or CO2 (extracted from the atmosphere or recaptured from the output at the factory) to the hydrogen to create a synthetic hydrocarbon.

"...the process of turning water into a hydrocarbon for combustion is not a cheap one...n effect, you have a fuel that uses more electrical energy to produce a fuel than the electricity used to directly power a vehicle..."
