Hard Driving Your EV Might Be The Best Thing For Its Battery

New Stanford research shows aggressive driving - quick acceleration, braking, and short rests - can extend EV battery life by up to 38%. Unlike older tests using constant loads, this study mimicked real-world driving across 92 batteries over two years. It found that dynamic use reduces harmful lithium buildup and overheating. Best practices still apply: avoid full charges, deep drains, and long idle periods.
