Australian shipbuilder Incat Tasmania powered up Hull 096, the world’s largest battery-electric ship and the biggest electric vehicle ever built. The 130m vessel, carrying 2,100 passengers and 220 vehicles, ran fully on battery power during its first e-motor trial in Hobart. With over 250 tonnes of batteries delivering 40 MWh capacity, the milestone marks a defining moment in maritime history.
