Renault Sets EV Range Record At Highway Speeds With Standard Battery

Renault's Filante Record prototype drove 1,008 km in under 10 hours using just 7.8 kWh/100 km, twice as efficient as the 13-14 kWh/100 km typical of Renault's production EVs like the Megane E‑Tech Tech. Powered by an 87‑kWh Scenic E‑Tech pack and extreme aero design, it averaged 102 km/h and still finished with 11% charge, setting a new benchmark for real‑world EV efficiency.
