New German Study Finds Combustion Engines Use 6X More Energy Than EVs

A German physicist, Johannes Kückens, argues that claims about "highly efficient" combustion engines are misleading. He explains that thermal engines are bound by physics to waste most of their energy as heat, while electric motors convert power far more effectively.
