Toyota Takes Aim At A New EV Market With The Urban Cruiser Ebella Electric SUV

Toyota has launched the Urban Cruiser Ebella, its first all-electric SUV in India. Built on a dedicated BEV platform, it offers two battery options - 49 kWh and 61 kWh - with up to 543 km of range. Priced around ₹19 lakh ($21,000), it features Level 2 ADAS, seven airbags, and modern tech. Developed with Maruti Suzuki and locally manufactured, it targets India's growing EV market, competing with Tata, Mahindra, and Hyundai.
