Tesla's newly disclosed robotaxi mileage combined with NHTSA crash reports shows the fleet logged about 500,000 miles in Austin between July and November 2025 and reported nine crashes - roughly one crash every 55,000 miles, about three times worse than human drivers even with a safety monitor present. The data raises serious concerns about Tesla's readiness for wider autonomous deployment.
