The Electric Volvo EX30 Is Dead in the U.S. After Just Two Years

16 Mar 2026  |  Abstracted from Car and Driver

Volvo is discontinuing the EX30 and EX30 Cross Country in the U.S. after the 2026 model year, citing shifting market conditions, tariffs, and financial pressures. Production for the U.S. ends this summer, though the EX30 will remain on sale in Canada and Mexico. Existing U.S. orders will be fulfilled, but dealers have been told the model is being pulled from the market. The EX90 will continue to be available in the U.S. market.
