France Funds Development of Ascendance Hybrid-Electric VTOL Propulsion System

Ascendance has secured €12.2 million in French government funding under the France2030 program to advance its Sterna hybrid-electric propulsion system and dual-use battery technology. The investment supports scaling production for both its Atea VTOL aircraft and smaller uncrewed platforms.
