The Santa Marta meeting, co‑hosted by Colombia and the Netherlands, gathered about 60 countries to accelerate a coordinated global phaseout of fossil fuels. Civil society played a major role, and a follow‑up meeting in Tuvalu aims to expand this coalition for faster climate action.
