Covenant Logistics completed a two-week California trial of the 500-mile long-range Tesla Semi. A fully loaded run over the demanding Grapevine pass on I-5 (a 6% grade) left the fleet operator "amazed." Sustainability VP Matt McLelland noted the driver felt unmatched confidence compared to diesel, highlighting regenerative braking advantages on steep descents. Covenant joins a growing list of major fleets reporting positive test results as Tesla ramps volume production in Nevada.
