To combat the messy reality of human passengers, Zoox is redesigning its all-electric robotaxi to focus heavily on odor reduction and improved comfort. The updated electric fleet rolling out later this year features non-porous, odor-resistant materials to eliminate smells like weed smoke and vomit. The cabin improves passenger comfort using high-contrast colors to spot lost items, and slashing cleaning time.
