Saudi Arabia's 600-Tons/Day Green Hydrogen Gambit

Saudi Arabia's $8.4 billion NEOM Green Hydrogen project is nearly complete: a solar farm the size of Manhattan and 257 wind turbines will power electrolysis of desalinated seawater to produce 600 tons of green hydrogen daily, mostly exported as ammonia. The venture - ACWA Power, Air Products, and NEOM - aims to cut 5 million tons of CO2 yearly and start production in 2027.
