PostAuto Now Operates 200 Electric Buses In Switzerland

Switzerland's leading bus operator, PostAuto, has deployed its 200th fully electric bus, proving the vehicles are viable even on steep Alpine routes. The company plans to add 116 more e-buses by the end of 2026, bringing non-fossil vehicles to 10% of its fleet. While charging infrastructure setup and regional funding present active challenges, PostAuto remains on track to completely electrify its 2,400-vehicle fleet by 2040.
