"After the success of a recent trial, energy experts have proposed a scheme that will line electric vehicle owners' pockets...EV motorists could be able to sell their surplus power from the battery of their parked vehicle back to the National Grid.
"Cars plugged into the grid could also be programmed to retain enough charge to drive a certain distance at any time - so the scheme wouldn't drain EV batteries."
