"Although New Orleans canceled its contract with Lime, it still wanted bike-sharing options...Blue Bikes [would] be run by a new nonprofit called Blue Krewe...two funders would provide the capital for startup costs, including a fleet of bicycles. By September 2021, residents were kicking their legs over 500 shiny new rides...they’ve made more than 289,000 trips.
