Facing Climate Disasters, Young Americans Deserve a Strong 'Ecosocial' Safety Net

"...the federal government already spends roughly $50 billion a year on these programs, they offer pennies compared to the growing impacts of natural disasters and climate change...We not only deserve a right to a healthy environment but also protection from the social and economic risks brought on by climate change through natural disasters. We need to reform our current system to meet this growing need."
