China Is Racing to Electrify Its Future

These efforts to grow the EV industry are already paying off domestically: At the end of 2021, EVs made up just 3 percent of the total passenger fleet in China, a figure that's expected to rise to 32 percent by 2030 and 77 percent by 2040..."
