Citroen CEO Says An Ideal Post-SUV World Should Have Smaller, Lighter Cars

in the 'post-SUV world'..."Citroen CEO Vincent Cobee...thinks...shaving off weight would also help extract more range from EVs...Since automakers are looking to avoid higher costs, they're trying to look for other ways to boost an EV's range.
The Citroen Oli concept car was "developed with a target weight of just 1,000 kg (2,204 pounds) and a decent range of 400 kilometers (249 miles) from a 40-kWh battery pack."
