"[The] ideal electrolyte for an NMC811 lithium-ion battery would not only help support higher voltages of more than 4.5 volts for greater energy densities and faster charging within 15 minutes, but also prove safe and operate over a wide range of temperatures from -60 to 60 degrees Celsius...currently no electrolyte simultaneously meets all these requirements."
