Representative Curtis, the leader of the Conservative Climate Caucus "demonstrated one of the ways Republicans talk differently about climate—by defending the fossil-fuel industry and defending legislation that would ease permitting for oil and gas.

"...do we hate fossil fuels or do we hate emissions, and I think we hate emissions, and fossil fuels can actually play a role. They can be part of the solution, and not the problem."
