The US Added 4,200 New DC Fast Charging Ports, And That's Just Q2

"The U.S. added 4,242 new DC fast‑charging ports in Q2 2025, a 23% increase over Q1, pushing the national total to 59,694 ports across 784 new stations. Industry data firm Paren projects 16,700 ports will come online in full year 2025 - a record. Despite policy uncertainty around NEVI, private investment accelerates "Charging 2.0" hubs with faster, more reliable hardware and improved reliability and pricing."
