Lucid Motors Advocates for EV Credit Extension

Marc Winterhoff, interim CEO of Lucid Motors, argues that extending EV tax credits for emerging automakers through 2026 would provide a level playing field in the industry. Established automakers have benefited from the tax credit for years, and Winterhoff believes that allowing smaller companies, like Lucid, to have access to the same incentives is only fair.

As EV adoption is still in its early phase, Winterhoff stresses the need for continued support to ensure the success of smaller brands. This comes at a time when Lucid is expanding its product offerings with three upcoming new models.
