Electric Vehicles Outperform Gasoline Cars In Lifetime Environmental Impact

A study published in PLOS Climate indicates electric vehicles (EVs) have a significantly better lifetime environmental impact compared to gasoline cars. Although manufacturing EVs initially has a higher carbon footprint due to battery production, they offset this "emissions debt" within approximately two years of use.
