Foxconn Nears Deal to Supply Electric Buses to Mitsubishi Fuso

Foxconn, a leading Taiwanese chipmaker, is reportedly nearing a deal with Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus to supply electric buses, according to a Nikkei report. The deal could lead to the creation of a new joint venture company between the two firms to oversee the production and distribution of these buses.

Under this partnership, Mitsubishi Fuso, a subsidiary of Daimler Truck, plans to sell Foxconn's Model T bus and Model U microbus models under its own brand. Foxconn intends to roll out both models in Japan by 2027.

This collaboration demonstrates a commitment to the development and adoption of sustainable transportation solutions, as electric buses offer a more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional diesel-powered vehicles.
